September came and went. I did not post because I have been busy doing nothing. Have you noticed that a lot of humans are too lazy to do nothing? They rush here, they rush there. They get things done. They do one thing and go on to the next. They do not have the discipline, the inner fortitude or the motivation to do nothing. Nothing does not get done by itself you know. It takes focus and perseverence. Sure it takes a long time to get nothing done, but it is worth the effort. Anyone can jump up and do something. Doing anything is even easier. So spend the rest of today, and tomorrow, alright the whole week doing nothing. You can't leave it all up to others.
Life is great when at the end of the day you can look back and say, "I did nothing all by myself."

I manage to do nothing by obsessively worrying about everything I feel I should do until I end up doing none of it. Thus, Ruby, I admire you immensely for being able to do it effortlessly...

Glad to hear from you! I have to say, my human not only rushes around herself but she also keeps me busy always doing everything!! :-) But I quite like having a full, exciting life...although it's good to have those days in between when I just snooze on my beanbag all day...like today!

Yeah, the humans always seem busy. Mine are especially busy watching baseball and football. Sigh.
Oh yeah, and taking stupid pee-wee to all his labraschools.
Good thing I sleep 20 hrs / day or I might get mad.

Honey- I agree. There is a time for doing things and a time for doing nothing.
Mango- You are like a Koala. They sleep for 20-22 hours a day. There is a definite art to doing nothing poses.
Ruby and Penny- What about being paid for sleep studies. You sleep and they study you.
Scout 'n Freyja- A little bit of something and a lot of nothing is a nice combo.
Book Pusher- Practice makes perfect.
We like your idea of doing nothing Ruby. We may give it a go too. We are often busy doing "something".
