Friend

This is one of our friends. She is an Asian house gecko (hemidactylus frenatus). She is on our kitchen window. They hang around and eat insects. They have only been in Australia for about ten years and live in houses, business and wharves. Mandy calls them "friends". They are good and nice. We welcome them into our home.

Life is great when you have friends.

Your friend is very cute, Ruby Isabella. I hope you don't decide to eat her one day. :-)

You're a very cute dawg. Please tell your people to give you a scritch behind the ear from me.

R & P- I'll tell her but it might be a bit chilly for her there.

Jo- I would never eat a friend. I will happily pass on your message.

it is said that gecko has only female species right? and they reproduce by cloning or something like that, i think so, as far as i remember that watching on discovery channel.
it was said that one day there will be only female species remaining as the chromosome determining the male part is shrinking, and we will have to clone ourselves!

Amber and Nala- We enjoy having them in our home. It's a pleasure to share with you.

White Crow- That is very interesting and requires some contemplation. Only females!
