Street Food

There is some great street food in Brisbane, for dogs not people. My favourite is apple, either a core or a whole apple if I'm lucky, and I am lucky. Some things are better not mentioning as I know humans tend to have very bourgeois values about such things. This, however, is something you might find pleasing. I saw this big, bright, yellow flowers and had a good snack on the nectar. You can see some yellow on my snout, you might need to enlarge it. It was tasty. Nectar of the Dogs.

Life is great when there are flowers which are both beautiful and tasty.

I had a black Labby a long time ago who loved eating the avocados that fell from the tree in my back garden. She'd eat every bit of it, except the pit. That, she always placed on the patio chaise lounge for me. She was a thoughtful and considerate friend!

I hope that flower was safe for you to eat!

Did you check to make sure it was safe to eat first? I am sure you did as you seem to be a dog that is on top of things. ;)

I can imagine you eating flowers, you're so pretty, I reckon it would look rather aesthetically pleasing:)

We love street food. Whenever we spy it we gobble it down, really fast before mom can take it from us. She always hogs all the street food.

Hi Ruby,

Sorry I haven't visited for ages -my humans have been overseas and have just got back. It was a very sad home-coming coz Hsin-Yi lost her father - and then we lost Lemon! She died very suddenly in kennels while my humans were still away - they were really shocked because she was a young, healthy cat. It is so strange without her in the house - we really miss her.

Hey - I have some exciting news: guess what? My humans have just found out that when we move to Oz next year, we'll be coming to Brisbane!! My human, Paul, has got a job at the hospital there. So maybe I'll get to meet you in person after all! You'll have to tell me all about the dog-friendly places in Brisbane. And maybe your humans can give my humans some advice on good suburbs to live in Brisbane? They don't know anything about the city! My human, Hsin-Yi's email is: hsinyicohen@yahoo.co.uk

Looking forward to sampling the street food with you! ;)
Slobbers,

I am sorry about the sad news Honey. I am very excited that you are coming to Brisbane. You'll love it. Don't worry we'll give you the low down.

It was a safe flower. You do have to be fast sometimes.

Thanks for the award, Steph.

Henry and CWS- Thanks for the compliments.
